Hello, my name is Samantha Coleman. I am the owner of Anchored - Sweet Treats & Savory Eats. I was born and raised here in Surry County. My passion for cooking began when I was a little girl helping my mother in the kitchen. Because of my passion for cooking and baking, I have always wanted to become a professional cook. I studied in the Culinary program at Wilkes Community College and later worked as a Pastry Chef in Roaring Gap, NC. As I worked as a pastry chef, I learned a lot of skills and gained experience as a baker. After working in that position for many years, I was soon able to open my own business.
